Hobson Prior are seeking a QA Manager to join a fantastic pharmaceutical establishment on a permanent basis located in Zug. Our client is focused on empowering people to live healthier at ever phase of life on an international level.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will be responsible for making the decision with management on sanctioning or non-releasing of a batch which also involves returns, as well as successive blocking of already released batched up to the potential recall of the drug.
  • Guarantee that the needs specified in the Swiss "Arzneimittel-Bewilligungsverordnung (AMBV)" and the Therapeutic Products Act (TPA; Heilmittelgesetz (HMG)) are met.
  • You will warrant that the needs of all pertinent regional and global regulations and internal guidelines /SOPs are met.
  • Monitor the pharmaceutical corporation of the company's entities in Switzerland and guarantee the correct management of the medicinal products.
  • The ideal candidate will certify that only medicinal products are released onto the market that meet the provisions in force and are produced rendering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Warrant that medicinal products are stowed and delivered rendering to the guidelines of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).

Key Skills:

  • An eager individual to succeed with focus on clear objectives as well as the ability to execute said objectives in collaboration with team members.
  • An independent and structured individual with a solution-focused approach to workload and oriented around the company targets.
  • Experience with people management would be beneficial but is not necessary for the role.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a pharmacy, chemistry, natural science or similar discipline.
  • Pharmaceutical organisation and/or manufacturing sites experience.
  • Familiarity with managing staff within a pharmaceutical setting.
  • Various years of quality assurance know-how.
  • Fluency in the German and English languages.
