Job Details
I am working with a growing well funded biotech who are leveraging machine learning technologies to develop the next generation of protein therapeutics! As part of their continued growth they are now seeking a talented scientist to lead within oncology drug discovery.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead oncology drug discovery projects and contribute as an immuno-oncology/disease biology expert to one or more projects
- Collaborate with CRO's for outsourced research activities
- Research, identify and propose new therapeutic targets and help build a project pipeline
- Provide scientific and technical expertise
Your background:
- PhD in pharmacology, biochemistry, protein engineering or a related discipline,
- Biotherapeutic drug discovery experience gained in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Experience with in vitro and in vivo disease models
- Strong knowledge within oncology and immuno-oncology
- Experience of using machine learning in protein engineering ideal
