Principal Scientist-Protein Purification

I am partnered with a growing innovative biotech who are passionate about developing next-generation protein therapeutics using machine learning. They are now looking for a talented scientist to join their team and contribute to their projects. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead protein expression and purification activities within the company 
• Design and develop flowcharts for high throughput and rapid expressions and purification of proteins 
• Introduce and implement emerging technologies for high throughput protein production and purification
• Liaise with partners in business development interactions and provide technical expertise to the design and execution of partner-led projects

Requirements:

• Experience of leading and developing teams in a multi-functional environment
• Experience of therapeutic protein discovery - taking molecules from design to pre-clinical studies
• Background in protein expression, purification and experience in Biaspecific antibodies 
• Experience of lab automation and running experiments at high throughput
• Experience of working with multi-specific antibody therapeutics would be a further advantage.
