Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology

This is an exciting time to join a well funded biotech who are leading the way in development of antibody therapeutics to restore immune balance and treat autoimmune disease!

Due to continued growth they are now seeking an experience clinical pharmacologist to join in a senior position reporting straight to CMO.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide clinical pharmacology expertise including PK, PD directly for clinical stage development as well as supporting other stages of development
• Responsible and accountable for developing compound specific Clinical Pharmacology Development Plan
• Apply appropriate regulatory (eg: FDA, EMEA, ICH etc) guidelines in the design of clinical development plans and studies
• Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, project matrix teams and research leadership
• Interact with discovery project teams early to aid in PKPD, biomarker, and efficacious dose prediction strategies
• Apply and promote Clinical Pharmacology knowledge, including that of model-based drug development during transition from preclinical to clinical stage, as well as during the clinical development of the pipeline
• Execute the day to day operations for the clinical pharmacology aspects of the assigned programs
• Work effectively in matrix environment, managing CP deliverables in accordance with timelines and overall project goals

Requirements:

• PhD degree in relevant subject
• Minimum 5 years industry experience within clinical pharmacology
• Demonstrated understanding of PK, PD, PK/PD, and Translational Medicine
• Drug development experience in Antibody therapeutics strongly preferred
• Understanding of modelling and simulation is beneficial
• Good understanding of clinical drug development and the overall pharmaceutical R&D process
