To support our continued global expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Key Account Manager.  The KAM will be a key member of our team, responsible for building sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging customer insights to develop strategies and solutions which will facilitate access to the EUSA Pharma portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

The Key Account Manager’s role is to promote our rare disease portfolio, to identify key accounts, and establish partnerships with key Health Care Professionals (HCPs), hospital pharmacists, payors and any other key stakeholders at a local level (hospitals). The KAM will be accountable for the business results of a territory covering Australia and New Zealand.   

Applicants will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

This is an exciting time to join EUSA Pharma as the organisation has an ambitious growth plan over the next five years, aiming to achieve significant revenue and patient population growth, leaving no oncology and rare disease patient behind in the remaining markets. 

Key accountabilities:

Technical and professional expertise:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ pharmaceutical experience ideally in the hospital setting.
  • A proven track record of sales in rare disease, haematology, oncology or speciality field
  • Experience/involvement in a successful recent product launch would be preferred
  • Experience in digital multichannel impactful customer interactions and able to describe previous experience both in systems and in personalized contents. Able to maximize impact of multichannel/digital tools and strategy on customers across the territory.
  • Excellent communication skills to drive impactful conversations with customers on phone, video, email, text and face-to-face
  • Project management skills and experience in a commercial setting are desirable

Personal specification:

  • Life science degree or higher qualification is needed and/or relevant experience in rare disease, haematology/oncology.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent soft skills, i.e. communication skills combined with good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent technical agility in remote/digital direct customer impactful interactions.
  • Strong presentation skills and business analysis skills.
  • Teamwork, proactive collaboration and interaction with other teams around the world
