Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Maintenance Director to join a brilliant biotech organisation on a permanent basis. Our client is focused on life-changing remedies within various therapeutic areas.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this role, you will recognise requirements/investments linked to infrastructures assisting procedures.
  • Guarantee quality matters connected to infrastructures assisting procedure are efficiently solved and that a quality evaluation of these is intermittently handled.
  • You are responsible for budgeting such as suggesting and handle the general division budget, guaranteeing actions are handles in a cost-efficient fashion and are aligned with the agreed budget.
  • To maximise capacity needs in all fields of functionality, troubleshooting to effective and dependable solutions, you will manage the reliability programs, warranting efficient and consistent developed reliability programs.
  • Certify infrastructures assisting with procedures are validated/qualified and persist in a condition of validation/qualification during their life cycle.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline with comprehensive management coaching.
  • Possess a management qualification that is recognised.
  • Past involvement in a managerial position in a number of engineering operations within a pharmaceutical corporation, ideally on an FDA approved site.
  • Present familiarity with technical engineering standards suitable in the organisation.
  • Knowledge on current EHS.
  • Would be beneficial to be experienced in Bio-processing and Sterile products.
  • Acquaintance with handling maintenance engineering operations and systems which involves, facility upgrades and new builds.
  • Prior involvement managing people as well as building and directing teams of more than 30 people.
  • Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French would be advantageous.
