Labcorp Drug Development are currently hiring for an Animal House Supervisor at our site in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire. The main purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the head of department.

Duties will include:
  • Performing the role of Named Animal Care and Welfare Officer
  • Leading, developing, motivating, mentoring and counselling the supervisory group
  • Reviewing the organisation of workloads allocated to each team and ensuring the effective use of staff and equipment
  • Identifying training needs and devising training programmes.
  • Participating in the recruitment process for prospective new hires for the facility.
  • Liaising with the supervisor group to ensure that each team has sufficient manpower and ensuring reallocation of staff where appropriate


  • IAT level 3, RAntech preferred
  • Home Office Personal Licence Holder
  • Previous experience of working within a Laboratory Animal Facility
  • Previous leadership experience, ideally in a similar industry
