Scientist- Phage Display

I am partnered with an innovative biotech who are experts in the discovery and development of products aimed at Immuno-oncology. Their portfolio is comprised of cell therapies, checkpoint antibodies, vaccines and so on to represent a combination of synergistic agents to deliver curative patient outcomes.

They are now looking for a talented scientist to join their Antibody Discovery Group and support the delivery of their in house immuno oncology therapeutic antibody programs, 

Your responsibilities: 

• Independently design and implement phage display campaigns from naïve selections to affinity maturation
• Work closely with the team to interpret complex data and select the best antibody candidates
• Follow appropriate SOP's and risk assessments and generate new ones when needed
• Contribute to projects from an early target evaluation stage through to post candidate nomination to IND and beyond

Your background: 

• Skilled in phage display technology (particularly with ScFv and Fab formats) including the generation of affinity maturation libraries
• Experience in expression and purification of antibody fragments to allow characterization using various assays
• Experience in molecular biology techniques including cloning, PCR and sequencing analysis
