Senior Clinical Research Associate - oncology/hematology

Oncology Snr Clinical Research Associates (CRA) 

Location - Remote working, Spain

Salary - €65-75k plus benefits

8-10 visits a month

We are recruiting for an established CRO who is looking for experienced Senior Clinical Research Associates to join their team in Spain. The role of Snr Clinical Research Associate offers a very competitive salary and great long term career prospects. Oncology / hematology experienced essential.

Typical responsibilities will include

-Conducting qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits for research sites

-Effective communication with medical site staff developing strong site relationships to ensure strong relationships through all phases of the trial.

-Verifying adequate investigator qualifications, training and resources, including facilities, laboratories, equipment and staff

-Verification and review of adverse events, serious adverse events, concomitant medications and corresponding illnesses to confirm accurate data reporting in accordance with protocol.

-Support and/ or lead audit /inspection activities as needed

-Manages and maintains information and documentation in CTMS, eTMF and various other systems as appropriate

-Assessing patient recruitment and retention strategies

-Completion of monitoring reports and follow-up letters

Previous experience working as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is essential for this role, either within a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech. Ideally you will have a higher qualification in the life sciences and fluency in English and Spanish. Ability to travel is an absolute must.
