Job Details

Hobson Prior are seeking for a Senior Associate Global Safety to join a brilliant biotech establishment on a contract basis located in Uxbridge with the ability to work on a hybrid basis. Our client is focused on transforming innovative concepts and findings into treatments for people suffering from serious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For this position, you will be responsible for distributing safety document training for local associate personnel and service suppliers.
  • Might support the safety audit of local study procedures, market research programs and social media projects.
  • To assist product safety actions, you will sustain consciousness of present prescribing information such as SmPC, safety profiles and new risk information for allocated company products.
  • When suitable, you will support the proposal of DSUR and PSUR safety documents presenting them to regulators and the ethics committees.
  • Conduct evaluations of pertinent PSUR safety signals for MHR notification.
  • Assist the safety team throughout evaluations and assessments of PV operations.
  • Sustain own present knowledge of compliance with regional safety guidelines.
  • Act as a main point of contact for outlines safety actions within the associates.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to international, local and nation safety meetings to share best practices on regions of technical knowledge.
  • To assist the local organisation, you will support the Global Safety Manager or Senior Global Safety Manager with facility of safety actions, as well as offer support for resolving problems when needed.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree in a life science or healthcare discipline with pertinent organisation experience in post market and clinical trial pharmacovigilance.
  • Comprehension of the importance of pharmacovigilance in ethical pharmaceutical marketing and development.
  • Computer literacy in MS office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Safety database, specifically ARGUS experience.
