SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Senior Business Analyst of Strategic Finance provides technical support for the Strategic Finance team and pricing support across business units. Primarily responsible for providing information and supplemental documents for use in developing payment schedules, marginal analysis, cash flow analyses, rate cards, metric tracking, pricing / contracts review and other commercial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Customized pricing deliverables for specific client requests (inflation analysis, budget and contract review, rate cards, cash flow, payment schedules, marginal analysis, etc.)
- Provide analysis and feedback to support Strategic Finance team decision making.
- Review requests from internal stakeholders to identify commercial needs in support of budget development.
- Participate in strategy calls to discuss customer requirements.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
- Meet deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, implementation, reviews, and approvals.
- Act as focal point for collection of pricing information from various sources.
- Perform quality control edits and participate in the preparation of documents for distribution to internal departments.
- Respond to routine and non-routine inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve complex inquiries with minimal support or oversight.
- Update and maintain corporate databases as required and ensure accurate information is included in tracking reports.
- Other duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the proposal development process, budgeting, contracting, invoicing, and the overall business organization and functional areas, and commercial strategy.
- Knowledge of the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to handle varied tasks in a constantly changing industry.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers
- Strong self-motivation and interpersonal skills within a fast-paced, deadline oriented, and changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proficiency in all MS-Office applications with advanced MS Excel skillset (manipulating complex files, designing/auditing algorithms, macros, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree, Business / Science field preferred
- Strong organizational agility, negotiation skills, and demonstrated drive for results
- Minimum three years’ experience in CRO/Pharmaceutical, Proposals, Contracts, or Finance environment.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relationship management skills and ability to build peer relationships with demonstrated global and cultural awareness.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.

- Ability to work flexible hours in order to complete deliverable deadlines when required
