Job Details

My client is a top-10 global pharmaceutical company and world leader in Neuroscience and Oncology drug development. Currently developing a new department focused on Neuro-Oncology, we seek to expand our global clinical development and medical affairs team with an expert in the field of Oncology clinical development.

 

If you are a clinical academic or pharmaceutical Oncology with demonstrable expertise in Oncology drug development, ideally focused on adult Neuro-Oncology, please read further.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Acts as the Clinical Science Leader and medical monitor for the assigned molecules across the Neuro-Oncology indications
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure that the clinical development plan is implemented
  • Provide medical oversight and expertise on clinical trial programs during development, study conduct, analysis and reporting as well as for the continuous benefit risk assessment
  • Collaborate with the global clinical development lead and clinical development team to design clinical trials and execute the clinical development plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in all phases of development as well as commercial and business development
  • Prepare material for meetings and liaise with health and regulatory authorities
  • Work with regulatory colleagues to compete and submit regulatory documents
  • Support and train new team members

Background

 

  • Medical Doctor (M.D, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent)
  • Specialist medical training in Oncology
  • Sub-speciality training in Neuro-oncology
  • >3 years of experience in clinical development or medical affairs
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH and other guidelines and regulations
  • Experience preparing and submitting NDAs/BLAs to health/regulatory authorities
