We are partnered with a global leading pharmaceutical company with a highly competitive and successful Gastroenterology portfolio. Due to recent success, a position is available in the UK Medical Affairs team for a Gastroenterologist to take the portfolio to greater heights.

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical expertise and support with Gastroenterology (pre, peri and post launch support) for Leaders and Gastroenterology specialists
- Anticipate and address customer needs and translate into strategic development plans that are aligned with brand strategies
- Contribute to the development of medical strategies to support brand commercialisation activities by working closely with the Global Medical Affairs units and cross-functional brand teams, RWO, market access, clinical management etc.
- Leverage your deep product/disease knowledge and educate networks of affiliate peers, so they can support their own deliverables
- Offer scientific and creative input, contribute to development, review and approval of promotional materials for the brand team
- Support global gastroenterology clinical trials across all phases at a local level
- Identify and understand the potential of local independent research that is strategically aligned
- Support as a key member the symposia, advisory board meetings, along with internal and external scientific training and educational activities
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD/MBBS)
- Certified Gastroenterologist or extensive experience and knowledge of Gastroenterology as a Subject Matter Expert
- Previous experience in Medical Affairs is highly preferred
- Extensive experience with KOL engagement, along with a good understanding of the gastroenterology customer and business
- Willingness to travel to customers, meetings and congresses
- Ability to work on-site in Hampshire 3 days per week
