If you want to develop a career in inhaled therapeutics, there is no better place to do it.

You’ll join an organisation that is recognised as an inhaled therapy specialist, in an environment where you will be encouraged to continuously learn and develop your abilities.

We are really excited about the future. With significant new investment and an expanding product project portfolio, we are embarking on an exciting and ambitious period of growth. We want you to grow with us.

About the role

As a Senior Scientist, you’ll be a role model for others. You’ll work with teams across our business, suppliers, and customers to continually build our capabilities.

As a recognised specialist, you’ll help plan and oversee work, provide guidance and technically review and approve reports.

You will be a valuable link between our Pharmaceutical Development teams and our Senior Managers, communicating and reporting findings and planning work to meet required timeframes.

You will be involved in the development of products through their lifecycle, including process and formulation development.  Additionally, you will have the analytical skills to perform testing of inhalation products and will be responsible for elements of method development and validation.

Our projects are as varied as our roles. You will be involved in supporting Vectura’s own projects, co-development work and CDMO delivery.

We value knowledge sharing and inclusion, so you will also coach, mentor, and support more junior members of our team too, acting as a role model both our science and our behaviours.

About you

You’ll be a degree-qualified Scientist, ideally with experience in working with inhaled medicines and inhalation testing.

Every day brings us exciting new challenges. You thrive on problem-solving and you’ll be able to lead concurrent protocols, communicating effectively with the wider team

We value diversity in every form. You flourish in inclusive team-driven environments, where you can learn from others but can support other colleagues too.

Apply

At Vectura everybody’s input is important. We actively encourage new ideas and fresh thinking – that’s how we continue to innovate and improve. We believe that by trusting and investing in our people we can deliver the best solutions to our customers.

If you’re looking for a career with empowerment and the opportunity to grow we’d love to hear from you.
