Medical Director rheumatology (Board certified physician) - Permanent - EMEA

i-Pharm Consulting have an exciting opportunity for a board-certified Medical Director to join the medical affairs team of the rheumatology portfolio at a top global CRO. You will support the growth of the business profile to ensure the business is a preferred partner for clients with support on their projects.

TITLE:

Medical Director - rheumatology (Board- certified physician)

ROLE:

• As well as sharing your vast medical expertise at investigator meetings, kick-off meetings, and client face-to-face meetings other responsibilities will include:
• Maintain strong relationships with clients through the project lifecycle
• Provide input into protocol and other study-related documents
• Create and maintain relationships with regulators, key opinion leaders, senior management and clients
• Provide support and training to external project teams and colleagues
• Review medical data and medical issues to reach project deliverables
• Work with Drug Safety to evaluate Serious Adverse Events, developing Safety Management, Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management Plans

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• MD with license to practice and board certification in rheumatology
• Experience in rheumatology is essential, ideally with experience in phase II-III projects either in industry or as an Investigator
• Experience writing clinical study reports, poster presentations, and manuscripts for publication in scientific journals
