Senior Medical Writer – Healthcare Communications

Remote, US

Albion Rye Associates is happy to announce new opportunities with one of our longest standing clients, a full-service agency that delivers scientifically accurate, visually engaging, and commercially sharp communications designed for traditional and new medical channels.

Recent success has led them to continue expanding both in the types of services offered and their global presence. For this reason, we are now looking for a well-rounded and enthusiastic Senior Medical Writer.

Could that be you?! Let me tell you a little more about the role and what we are looking for…

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content in various forms including slide decks, scientific posters, manuscripts, abstracts, and summaries, as well as sales training and advisory board meeting materials
  • Provide scientific expertise supporting the medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) review process
  • Strategic input interacting with clients in live and remote meetings, and webinars
  • Design and facilitate strategic training workshops
  • Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth
  • Coach and review the work of junior team members

Qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced scientific degree – PhD, PharmD or MD
  • Healthcare/Medical Comms agency experience – promotional or scientific, 2 or more years
  • Strong project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and ability to develop high quality content
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient using MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel, and reference-management software
