Commercial Skills Trainer - Dermatology & Bone Health - UK
Our client is one of the largest privately-owned independent OTC and pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK and exports worldwide. They continually grow their business every year in the UK and International markets by innovation and acquisition.
They now have an exciting opportunity as a Commercial Skills Trainer who will be responsible for developing and delivering an annual training plan to ensure high competency levels and in-call excellence across all regional teams to help deliver the company's commercial goals.
It is expected that you will be based within 2 hours of their West Yorkshire offices.
You will identify, plan and implement training programmes to maximise sales, customer engagement, objection handling, rapport building and relevant commercial skills to optimise in-call excellence across Face to Face and Omnichannel engagement (E-detailing, Phone, Screen Share) and others as defined as business critical. Also, your role will include the planning, evolving and implementing a comprehensive Initial Training Programme for new sales personnel and for those moving into new job roles within the prescription medication division.
Candidate background:
- ABPI qualified with degree level education
- Proactive and accountable with a clear drive for completion and delivery
- Exceptional coaching, business planning and account management skills with an ability to create and direct a high performing L&D team
- Experience of design and delivery of training from within the UK Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Consumer industry
- In depth understanding of NHS and the current challenges it is facing
- Strong presentation/facilitation skills
- Pro-active, accountable and drive for completion/delivery
