Reporting into the Senior Research Scientist, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Contribute to and support the analysis, visualization, and interpretation of complex "multi" -omic datasets generated from preclinical and translational studies, non-interventional research studies, interventional clinical trials in addition to public data sets and biobanks

  • Contribute to the performance of in vitro screening strategies including transcriptomic and proteomic analysis of blood and tissue to identify potential biomarkers of disease/indications and drug-responses

  • Ensure completion of Translational Research goals as defined by Research Therapeutic Area Leads, Translational and Clinical teams to support MoA studies, biomarker discovery and development, target discovery & validation, and patient enrichment.

  • Help review new product opportunities and partnerships from external collaborators to bring new projects into the pipeline and/or support the progression of existing research and clinical programs across therapeutic areas

  • Identify and implement new assay platforms to be used in in vitro and in vivo evaluation of therapeutic candidates

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • 2+ years post-doctoral experience in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary environment in academia and/or industry with a focus on translational research and multi-omic analysis
  • Experience applying methods to analyze multi-omic datasets to draw biological insights from experimental data.
  • Experience building and using analysis methods and databases to answer important research questions related to experimental design, mechanism of action (disease and/or therapeutics) biomarker discovery, patient stratification and target discovery and validation
  • Experience applying network biology and pathway analysis algorithms using open source and/or commercial tools
  • Proven track record of publications and presentations at national and international conferences and industry events.
  • Experience with molecular biology and RNA handling
