Senior Director - Biometrics

I am currently partnered with an exciting medical technology company, looking for the expansion of their global clinical development team. My client is a world-leading innovator with around 50,000 employees globally.

Focusing on the clinical development of immune-oncology and oncology products, you will be responsible for the design and execution of the clinical development portfolio, ranging from pre-clinical, regulatory and commercial stages of the various products.

For this role, you will be providing statistical support on all the statistical aspects of the clinical studies and submissions associated with the projects. If you are an experienced biostatistician looking for a move in the industry with a clear development pathway, please read on.

Responsibilities:

• Provide statistical support alongside scientific leadership for assigned projects. In addition, being accountable for the statistical aspects of the clinical studies and submissions whilst maintaining industry standards
• Planning and developing effective projects, timelines and allocations of resource
• Independently work with CRO’s from proposal to completion
• Collaborate and work cross functionally with other teams including, medical, quality, regulatory and scientific
• Providing advanced training to scientific members

Experience requirements:

• A PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology or closely related field
• 6+ years industry experience integrating and analysing biomedical data to support Drug Discovery projects and clinical development plans
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and written with the ability to communicate at all levels across each department
• Familiarity working with health resources such as UK Biobank
• Proficient knowledge of data processing and programming
• Confident using language packages that support Bioinformatics and Machine Learning activities
