Planet Pharma are working closely with an exciting site management organisation who have vastly expanded since their entry into the industry 2 years ago. 

This company are looking for experienced physicians to join the pharmaceutical world and work on their oncology trials. 

As part of this role you will be acting as co-investigator to ensure all training is met for each member of the research site as well as ensuring all clinical trials are run in accordance to protocols. You will also be looking after the wellbeing of the trial participant and making referrals for the patient to third parties or patients own GP.

Requirements

You must have extensive oncology experience as a physician for this role as you'll be working exclusively on oncology trials. 

- Full adult and paediatric resuscitation qualifications
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills
- Taking blood and result interpretation
- Insertion of Contrast dye for CT and MRI
- Emergency airway management. 

You must be GMC registered to be suitable for this position and you must have completed your foundation training in the UK. 

This is a six month contract and will allow you to work alongside your GP/Physician responsibilities as this will require 2/3 days a week of your time, giving you a great opportunity to take on clinical research experience and work even closer with your patients!
