Systems Engineer
Based in Coventry - Full time position - Monday to Friday and up to 3 days working from home

Our client is a small specialised division working within a large global organisation who are now seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support activities throughout the product development lifecycle; predominantly around BMS system development.

Job Requirements -
* Support the development of automotive systems engineering for Battery Management systems and other EV applications.
* Assist with requirements capture, development, architecture design, and application software development.
* Support system calibration, commissioning, and integration test activities
* Support the development, build and test of prototype systems.
* Liaise with customers to capture requirements and provide systems level support and training.
* Work closely with the software, mechanical, and electronics teams on integration tasks.

Essential Experience:
* Systems engineering background and understanding of the development lifecycle for a safety critical application.
* MATLAB/Simulink development.
* Experience of embedded control systems.
* Ability to take a hands-on, methodical, approach to testing, fault finding and commissioning of systems.
* Self-motivated and keen to be involved at all stages of development.

Desirable Skills:
* Automotive experience, including HV applications and ISO26262.
* Battery Management System Experience.
* Electronics development/prototyping skills.
