Senior Pharmaceutical Government Relations Associate (Head of Oncology, Neurology, and Rare Disease Cluster)- (m\w\x) Berlin

Tasks

  • Lead the development of Government Affairs (GA), market access and reimbursement strategy for new products within the indications of oncology, neurology and rare disease for pharmaceutical clients
  • Project management and the coordination of differently composed teams
  • Development and implementation of market access and reimbursement strategies for pharmaceutical products in the areas of oncology, neurology, and rare disease
  • On the ground lobbying of decision makers within the Deutsche Bundestag, GKV-Spitzenverband, krankenkassen, and the Deutsches Gesundheits Ministerium
  • Building and maintaining a network of KOLs and stakeholders.
  • Writing and creating documents for reimbursement submissions for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Leading a team and managing several mandates in the cluster

Requirements:

  • A university degree in political, social, administrative or legal sciences or in the field of public health, health economics or medicine
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in healthcare or health policy
  • Knowledge of the decision-making structures and bodies in the health care system and in joint self-administration
  • Experience in the field of oncology or neurology, ideally with reference to oncology
  • Medicinal products. Existing network contacts in the subject areas are an advantage.
  • Pronounced interest in political structures and decision-making processes
  • A structured way of working, conceptual thinking skills combined with a secure one
  • Appearance and excellent verbal and writing skills (in German and English)
  • The ability to organize oneself and others and to take responsibility
  • Experience in project management is desirable
  • Ability to work in a team and a high degree of resilience, personal responsibility and initiative
