Founded five years ago, my client has grown into a global biopharmaceutical company with a seasoned team that commercializes and advances a pipeline of product candidates for patients with devastating diseases.

The team members have a duty to their patients, and you can see that responsibility and focus in where they are, where they’ve been, and where they plan to go.

Due to continued success with the products in their pipeline, my client is now ready to expand and build out a new medical writing team and to do this, they need to hire a Sr. Director of Medical Writing.

This is a great opportunity to have a say in how a medical writing department should be run and set up.

Requirements:

• Phd or MD.
• 10+ years experience writing medical regulatory documents. CSRs. INDs etc.
• 5+ years leadership experience or medical writing teams and groups.
• Industry experience within a pharmaceutical company preferred but not a requirement.
• Excellent team player.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to learn while training others.
• Rare disease therapeutic area focus is a plus.
