Machine Learning Performance Engineer

Overview
Global biotechnology company focusing on molecular biology and applications, informatics, engineering, electronics, manufacturing and commercialisation. Their sequencing platform allows for rapid insights, that analyse DNA and RNA data.
As a member of their Machine Learning Operations group to help enable detailed bioinformatics analysis within the wider group.
All contributions made to the algorithms/pipeline developments will be included in the platform in a matter of weeks.

Essential skills:
• PhD in a quantitative subject, such as in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with training machine learning models.
• Background in accelerated computing (FPGA, C++, Fortran, CUDA/OpenCL programming).
• Record of publications in Machine Learning.
• Experience with ML libraries: PyTorch/TensorFlow etc,.
• Good understanding with DNA sequencing, Natural Language Processing/time series analysis.
• Bioinformatics workflow experience.
