Senior Account Manager Healthcare advertising

Remote working available nationwide

A leading healthcare advertising and marketing agency are seeking an Senior Account Manager with experience in a similar role within the medical/ healthcare communications sector.

Your key responsibilities will include serving as the main point of contact for clients and day-to-day project management (from proposal to project delivery), whilst ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and timelines, mentoring junior colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable project management experience from your previous roles with an interest and solid understanding of science and medicine, which will aid you in understanding the various therapeutic areas that this agency covers.

Key responsibilities:

Building and maintaining key relationships with clients as the lead point of contact for your accounts

Managing expectations of the internal team and clients for the delivery of projects in terms of timeline, budget and resourcing

Working closely with the account leads and project managers on all financial processes making sure they are managed in line with agency procedures

Recognizing opportunities for business development and drive organic account growth, using your commercial awareness to understand the needs, requirements and aspirations of the clients business

Oversight of all project processes

Line management and mentorship of junior members of the team

Essential skills and experience

4+ years experience in an agency environment across adjacent industries to healthcare advertising such as medical communications

Previous experience within a similar account manager/project management role

Demonstrable experience in coordinating efficiently with team members and maintaining strong working relationships with clients

Financial acumen developed through working on scoping, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial planning

An understanding of print, video and digital media production

This role would apply directly to anyone within medical/healthcare communications who is looking to step up from an Account Manager role, or an experienced Senior Account Manager who is looking for a new and collaborative environment
