We are looking for an experienced HR Adviser to join our team on a permanent basis.  Reporting to the Senior Global HR Manager, the role of HR Adviser will be to support the activities of the team.  The role is a varied, generalist one and would suit an experienced HR Adviser used to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.



  • Provide trusted and high quality advice and support to managers on the full range of HR-related topics, covering recruitment, employment law and employee relations matters (including absence management, performance management and other HR policies and procedures).
  • Support the senior manager in recruitment activities, including acting as the first point of contact for candidates; liaising and maintaining relationships with external agencies; scheduling interviews and recruitment tests; other recruitment administrative tasks as required.
  • Manage a range of key HR processes, including
    • Onboarding; enabling a smooth transition of new starters into the business, and completing the relevant pre-employment checks;
    • leavers process and leavers’ surveys and meetings;
    • absence; sick, holiday, family leave, flexible working applications etc.
  • Produce reports of HR metrics reports,
  • Ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and processes in line with legislative changes and practices and ensure supporting documents are user friendly and enable a best practice HR function.
  • Processing all employee changes, including correspondence and updating the HR System.
  • Supporting the HR Manager on various projects and initiatives as required.
  • Ability to identify a pragmatic solution within our policies and procedure and employment law

Job Requirements



  • CIPD - either full or part qualified. 
  • Proven interest and knowledge of HR and employment law
  • Confident, articulate and clear communication skills (both verbal and written) with good facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging conversations in a harmonious and professional manner.
  • Strong team-player who is also capable of working independently to a high standard and ensure deadlines are met under pressure.
  • Proficient organisation and time management skills; ability to multi-task multiple projects and demands.
  • Must be fully aware of the sensitivity and confidentiality of the function and act with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills.

Work Conditions
