Senior Manager of Engineering and Design

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Manager of Engineering and Design, based in Switzerland.

As Senior Manager-E&D, you will be responsible for leading engineering and design activities on complex large capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Design elements of projects are correctly implemented by third party Architectural Engineering firms
• Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) for Architect/Engineer (A/E) services and leads A/E interviews/selection and on-boarding process
• Lead the front-end design process
• Assure that the Project Delivery Process is followed
• Work with internal and external stakeholders

Requirement

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical). MS/MBA a plus
• 7-15 years of experience in project/design management, including obtaining agreement on project definition and priorities, and ensuring that resources, capabilities, and processes are in place to deliver the design efficiently and effectively
• Experience working with Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products and/or Medical Device Manufacturing process equipment and systems, architectural finishes, clean/plant utilities and HVAC
• Prior experience working in a lead role
• Language requirements – English and German
• Travel percentage – 40% within EU
