About this job:

Responsible for responsible for all strategic activities in the area of risk management with regard to substantial financial assets and management of cash flow and liquidity. This role collaborates with the other regional leads, and the Treasury Lead to develop and constantly improve the overall Treasury strategy, as well as operating independently within the region. The region lead is accountable for tactical and operational activities on cash and external investment management, foreign exchange risk management and reporting across the region. This role is responsible for providing an efficient infrastructure for the Treasury function within the region and is responsible for developing, monitoring and implementing treasury-specific compliance activities, in alignment with the overall compliance frameworks set by the Finance Compliance & Governance team. This will also include the definition and maintenance of policy.

Amongst the main responsibilities for this role are the following:

  • Treasury policy and procedure.
  • Treasury risk management.
  • Core Treasury activities.
  • Lead a team of 2 subordinates all direct reports.
  • Represent Technology Division in alliance and partner programs.
  • Core Treasury’s activities.
  • Stakeholders Management.
  • Ad hoc projects.
  • Process excellence.
  • Compliance.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Same years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Degree-educated with post graduate Treasury qualifications
  • Member of Corporate Treasurers Association
  • Significant PQE experience within a number of treasury roles in a multinational.
  • Demonstrating a good breadth and depth of treasury related experience.
  • Excellent understanding and experience of the facets of a full Treasury role – FX, interest Rates, Cash Management, Funding.

  • Currently this position has the flexibility to work from home and in the office.
  • This position is based in Leiden.
  • Full time.
