JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Communication Specialist will be responsible for centrally supporting communication and strategy activities for a dedicated customer business unit within Syneos Health. This individual will be responsible for executing and maintaining a communications plan that drives the right messages to internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective communications across the partnership
The Senior Communication Specialist supports all members of the business unit, across several functions, and works closely with business unit leadership to Improve knowledge sharing and engagement with all Stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop clear and compelling communications to support operational updates, achievements within the business unit, business unit strategy, etc.
• Coordinate and lead large meetings and discussions - including managing attendee lists, developing an appropriate agenda, working with attendees to develop content, capturing actions, etc.
• Analyze high level operational data and reports to create graphs, identify trends, and translate data into a narrative to help drive operational updates
• Support business improvement initiatives through communication and change management best practices
• Maintain and update SharePoint document repositories
• Maintain and update SharePoint based intranet pages
• Maintain and update multiple email distribution lists

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) level of qualification in life sciences, communication, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal day to day oversight
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• High proficiency with full MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint
• Ability to travel if necessary preferred (approximately 5%)
• High level of competence in English language
