Logistics Support (remote-based)

Key Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily updates on locations and movements of shipments.
• Contacting freight forwarders to chase shipments when required.
• Take minutes in meetings and distribute meeting notes.
• Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of scheduled reports and MI.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate with them effectively and clearly.
• Perform other tasks and activities to support the operation.
• Health and Safety - you must ensure you do not expose yourself or others to risk that affects yours or others health and safety. You must not misuse, alter, interfere or remove any items provided for the benefit of health and safety. You must follow instructions provided during any emergency procedures. You must engage in any health and safety training, instruction or information provided for your and others health and safety.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate requires experience of working in a supply chain and logistics operation.
• Advance Microsoft skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Customer-focused with an eye for detail.
• Be comfortable working across multiple workstreams.
• An effective communicator able to establish relationships quickly and effectively.
• Demonstrate passion and drive to implement vital changes to the operation.
• Be adaptable to the complex and changing environment and be able to prioritise accordingly.
