The Opportunity
As our organisation continues to grow we have multiple Manufacturing Technician positions available in our Aseptic Filling manufacturing area. These positions are full time, ongoing positions with excellent training and on the job learning. You will be required to work either a day shift 6:31 until 14:22 or afternoon shift 14:00 until 21:51.

You will be working within the Facility A filling area which is a new manufacturing facility located at our Broadmeadows site, designed to aseptically process Privigen® and AlbuRx® utilising state of the art isolator technology and process automation.

In this role you will participate in ensuring all operational documentation and processes are managed and maintained in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and CSL standards and be working in both an aseptic and support role. In this team environment you will be involved in the set-up of filling equipment so that we can aseptically fill and cap glass vials with an accurate amount of product every time.

Whilst filling and manufacturing/pharmaceutical experience is desirable, having mechanical aptitude is pivotal.

The Role

• Ensuring the health, safety and security of yourself and others
• Conducting production activities to meet the Master Production Schedule
• Comfortable with completing your tasks with strict gowning requirements
• Identify and support process development and innovation within the manufacturing plant
• Follow company policies, safety standards and good house-keeping practices
• Extensive cleaning of environment and production lines
• Preparation of equipment for the filling line
• Executing the manufacturing process via automated systems

Skills and Experience

• Strong attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety
• Experience working in a strict process focused environment
• Strong communication skills and good computer literacy
• Demonstrated ability to liaise across functional groups to meet objectives
• TAFE or degree qualification is desirable but not essential
• Filling, packaging and/or GMP experience is highly regarded but not essential
