The Syneos Health Feasibility & Data Science team, is searching for a passionate & inspirational leader to head up our Global team of Analysists and Data Scientists.
We are looking for a Senior leader to join our team in blending data, insights, and technology for a superior customer experience, whilst infusing data outcomes into the heart of our business operations systems and culture. This is a strategic business leader role leading a team that is front and centre to our go-to-market motions.
In this role you will be empowering a team of dedicated analysists and data science professionals, working with best of breed technology and data platforms (Dynamic Assembly) to deliver world-class insights to our customers to unlock value for their business and help them grow.
You and your team will be responsible for collectively driving data-driven strategies and deepening strategic relationships with our internal stakeholders, strategic data providers, and directly with our customers seeking new innovative patient outcomes.

JOB SUMMARY
Serves as a leader within Global Feasibility by identifying, delivering and maintaining identified Feasibility business objectives and contributing to the overall long term vision, strategy, and financial success of the business unit.
Accountable for the departmental efficiency, quality delivery, and performance of efforts undertaken by the Global Feasibility team in support of successful data collection analysis and accuracy of data deliverables towards successful RFP strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall accountability of the Global Feasibility teams' management in support of efficient and accurate data collection, analysis, department efficiency and accuracy of data driven deliverables, quality & success.
  • Responsible for departmental metric capture and accuracy to ensure accountability to budgets, timelines, and deliverables, for Global Feasibility activities.
  • Accountable for financial management and delivery for the departmental assigned area of responsibility.
  • Supports SSU and Regulatory Senior Leadership in setting and delivery of BU objectives. Directs, controls and implements the objectives and activities for delivery within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Provides senior leadership and management of the optimization of tools and processes and responsible for a continuous departmental innovation initiative, leveraging capabilities to expand services and data assets offered.
  • Drives Departmental and SSU BU level initiatives across the organization by working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performs strategic operational level planning including development and efficient allocation of resources and budget within functional group and/or Business Unit.
  • Collaborates with Alliance Management and Business Development, to support significant and strategic business opportunities, including assistance with marketing presentations.
  • Strong leadership skill, ability to teach/mentor team members. Ability to coach employees to reach performance objectives. Ability to recognize and take appropriate action when employee performance is not acceptable.
  • Ensures positive team culture, interaction, growth and scalability by escalation of needs up to SSU BU stakeholders. Works to maintain low attrition and maximized team capabilities.


Qualifications

Graduate degree preferred and 10 years+ related experience
Minimum of 10 years+ CRO industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that gives the individual the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
Extensive experience in:
  • Global Clinical trial delivery including, but not limited to, applicable regulations, drug development, and clinical project management.
  • Managing teams of senior Global Feasibility employees up to the Director level locally and globally.
  • Understanding of needs of sites and patients across indications and application within the clinical trial Feasibility planning and execution setting.
Proficiencies:
  • Superior management skills, leadership, mentoring, process improvement, negotiating, collaboration and change management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications), email, and internet research capabilities.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and team-oriented skills.
  • Excellent verbal, editor-level written, communication proficiency.
  • Superior time management skills, ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible around travel and work hours if a business need should arise. Travel minimum of 25%.
