JOB PROFILE SUMMARY

Act as Portfolio Delivery Lead for key customer account, lead a team of patient recruitment professionals focused on improving overall patient recruitment and retention effectiveness for assigned customers. Assist in determining department’s strategic goals and objectives along with other departmental stakeholders and leadership, ensuring alignment with senior management priorities. Lead strategic initiatives and work with leadership across disciplines to develop implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide Account oversight across programs with internal and client teams

• Responsible for delivery against agreed customer KPI’s and supports risk and actins planning as required

• Act as a client and/or internal liaison and escalation point for GPSS

•  Attendance at key customer / project meetings

•  Responsible for leading monthly project review sessions with assigned team

•  Oversight of financial health of project/program

•  Acts as Point of contact for account specific operational/delivery  questions, process review, agreements and manuals etc.

• Contribute to GPSS strategies pre and post award

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop, operationalize, and implement best-in-class strategies for customers to meet recruitment goals or increase productivity at lower-performing sites

• May lead development of new solutions for recruitment and retention for use by other project teams

• Support health and clinical trial events/initiatives including presenting at industry conferences. Lead collaboration with key stakeholders to build patient recruitment and retention offerings with integration into patient recruitment and retention strategies and programs

• Ensure quality and regulatory appropriateness and acceptance of all offerings and programs

• Coach and mentor employees as they develop in their role

• Participate and/or co-lead departmental quality or process improvement initiatives

***May manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations.

• Approve actions on human resources matters

• Provide operational leadership oversight for the resourcing process, including hiring, on-boarding and training standards and evaluating existing and future resource alternatives

• Evaluate workload, quality and budget metrics through regular review and reporting of findings

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·       Extensive experience in a client facing strategic level role

·       Passion for patient centricity / healthcare communications / clinic trials

·       Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

·       Excellent financial acumen

·       Accountability for all assigned tasks and experience proactively taking ownership as issues arise

·       Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, establish and maintain relationships with individuals inside and outside the organization

·       Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high pressure and deadline driven environment, proactively managing competing priorities

·       Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts to create detailed and tailored engagement / communication strategies

·       Thorough grasp of all standard computer programs including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel

·       Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts to create detailed and tailored engagement / communication strategies

·       Knowledge of the drug development / clinical trials processes

·       Experience working in patient recruitment

·       Experience developing ballpark and detailed budgets and discussing these with internal and external stakeholders

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·       Bachelor’s degree in a health care or other relevant discipline or educational equivalent

·       7 yrs. of relevant and client facing industry experience (patient recruitment / communications / strategy / program management)

·       Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
