  • Fully Remote, 100% US or office if preferred (Chicago)

Albion Rye Associates are proud to be partnering again with one of our longest-standing clients, a full-service medical communications agency dedicated to the needs of healthcare clients. On the hunt for a well-rounded and experienced Medical Writer.

You will be working with an ever-growing biopharma with great ambition and a really strong pipeline in the US, on Immuno-Oncology accounts with several indications as part of the UK team working fully home-based or in the office if you prefer.

Reporting to the Scientific Team Director. There will be the opportunity to coach and review the work of other junior writers. Line management could be on the cards further down the line too.

Although your team will be in the UK, you will be working standard US hours (East Coast) to align with the US-based clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and review the work of junior team members
  • Provide scientific expertise
  • Strategic input
  • Liaise with US-based clients on publication strategy and delivery
  • Develop publications
  • Design and facilitate strategic training workshops
  • Attend regular publication meetings
  • Proactively identify opportunities for organic growth

Qualifications and experience:

  • You must have healthcare agency experience – promotional or scientific are both fine
  • You must have strong project management skills
  • Ideally, you will have oncology experience (not essential though)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced scientific degree – PhD, MSc, PharmD, or MD
  • High level of motivation and initiative
