Senior Bioinformatic Scientist - Market Leading Biotech – Cambridge

What is it like to work here?

You will be part of an industry leading Genomics technology provider, who are working in the development and accessibility of sequencing products to push the boundaries of drug discovery and therapy development. You will be part of a global team of experienced bioinformaticians at the forefront of cancer, complex disease, and microbiology research.

What will you be doing?

You will be running and researching computational methods to analyse sequencing data, and developing and implementing your own pipelines. You will be creating statistical and machine learning models, and using these to drive the improvement of sequencing technology.

What do you bring to the table?

- PhD in a computational field

- Experience developing and using maintainable code

- Python/R coding experience - C++ is extremely desirable.

- Experience with genomic or sequencing data

- Fastidious and thorough work ethic, with a clear eye for detail
