Director Market Access and Reimbursement DACH + NL (m/w/x)- Berlin (home based)

i-Pharm Consulting is currently partnered with a leading diagnostics company in the field of oncology. They are currently in search of a Director of Market Access and Reimbursement DACH & NL. They will hold a high strategic position within the companies leadership team and they will be responsible for developing, executing and leading the market access and reimbursement strategies for the companies new oncodiagnostic pipeline. Furthermore they will be expected to lead a team of motivated market access managers. They will also be responsible for the DACH & NL regions with the primary focus being on German market access. They will be expected to lead the team in drafting value dossiers and leading negotiations for reimbursement and building and establishing contacts with institutions such as the GBA, EQUICK, GVK Spitzenverband and the KVB. Furthermore the full scope of this position includes frequent collaboration with the global leadership team and defining the market access strategy on an affiliate level in Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. This position is based full time in home office with frequent travel to Berlin.

Responsibilities:

Market Access within Germany:

Lead the development and execution of Market Access and Reimbursement plan and strategies to achieve and/or maintain successful reimbursement and pricing negotiation in the DACH + NL region as well as in other selected markets.

Lead the reimbursement submissions process to the HTA agencies as well as pricing negotiations in selected markets.

Lead the AMNOG strategy for submission to the GBA

Adapt and implement market access tools at a country level (health economic models, value tools).

Become the single point of contact for all DACH+NL Market Access strategic initiatives, projects and activities at a country level in collaboration with stakeholders from the the GBA, GKV Spitzenverband, EQUICK and the KVB

Market Access in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Austria

Provide expert reimbursement and access guidance to selected international markets.

Support the efforts of the local commercial team (in Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands) (Area and Country Manager) to secure private insurance coverage and support hospital-based contracts development processes as required.

Propose and lead evidence generation projects to further strengthen the products' value story.

Actively monitor and provide guidance on the pricing and reimbursement environment and policies for in vitro diagnostics and personalized medicine technologies in selected markets.

Provide strategic thinking into products lifecycle and Exact Sciences portfolio development.

Partner / collaborate with the US Market Access team to contribute to a global strategy vision for market access.

Team Leadership

Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of three Senior Market Access Managers that sit across the DACH and NL regions

Define corporate and leadership strategy within the Company's executive leadership team.

Qualifications:

University degree required in related field.

8+ years of market access experience (pricing, health economics and/or market access positions) at country level in Germany.

Ideally 2+ years of regional experience in Austria, Switzerland and/or the Netherlands.

Solid track record in developing and executing Market Access strategies as well as successful reimbursement outcomes.

In-depth knowledge of German healthcare systems and Reimbursement process.

Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills both written and oral.

Strong negotiation skills.

Experience in the therapeutic area of oncology
