About This Job

The Medical Manager Hematology will be working in a cross-country role managing both Egypt and Lebanon. This exciting opportunity will enable the candidate to drive success, build and maintain a great network with stakeholders, and have the luxury of working in the field and the office. The Medical Manager Hematology will be responsible for endorsing company science-driven partnerships, collaborating with medical communities and academic institutions, and providing medical support to enable the safe use of Astellas products. This role will be reporting directly into the Head of Medical Affairs for Egypt & Levant.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • 2 years experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Previous experience in the country of responsibility
  • Scientifically credible and able to integrate complex medical scientific information
  • Excellent communication - must be fluent in English and Arabic
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starting individual with ability to work independently

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

  • Knowledgeable of the therapeutic areas relevant to Astellas
  • Previous experience with a multinational company in the Hematology field  
  • Flexible, customer focused, and determined attitude

Education/Qualifications

  • Medically qualified personnel (MD, Pharma D or Master’s in science). A Medical Doctor is preferable.
  • Postgraduate studies are an addition
