Health Economics Manager - Chronic Care - Home based

Our client is a is a Market Leading company with a strong record for product and service innovation. They work in close partnership with the NHS and individual healthcare professionals to support and drive the best clinical solutions and services to patients.

Reporting to the Head of Market Access, the Health Economics Manager UK/Ire will be a critical member of a highly skilled and motivated team working to obtain reimbursement and access for their innovative Chronic Care products in the UK and Ireland.

Using health economic arguments, you will be working to ensure optimal pricing and reimbursement for their product portfolio for UK reimbursement agencies and local health care payers and will lead on health economic value arguments and tools to support the Strategic Sales team creating optimal access for their product and services.

You will also represent the UK on Global development of pipeline products and appropriate data generation and argumentation through health economics.

This role will work in close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders in the UK and Ireland and with the Global Market Access team.

Candidate requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Health Economics.
  • Deep understanding of economic concepts relevant to UK HTA.
  • Experience conducting research studies that apply health economics, patient-reported outcomes, retrospective and prospective data analyses, registry, epidemiology or health services research
  • Expert insight and knowledge in Health economics and model development
  • Skilled in translating complex economic concepts into simple language.
  • Good understanding of current UK health care system and market access issues
  • Demonstrated experience of project management
  • A commercial mindset
