About This Job:

We are looking for a new Therapy Area Manager to join our dynamic team and work on both Hungarian, Bulgarian, and Romanian markets!

In this role you will:

  • Lead the in-affiliate Therapeutic Area activities to deliver a best-in-industry local customer offer in the country
  • Generate and gather insights, opportunities, risks and needs from their local market and give input to EMEA brand co-creation team in agreed manner
  • Represent the EMEA brand plan for the affiliate, aligning brand priorities and market requirements
  • Develop and execute the operational brand plan in-market, through localisation/ adaption of EMEA-level materials and initiatives
  • Ensure locally specific created initiatives and materials are appropriate, aligned with the brand strategy and positioning 
  • Engage with and manage the relationship with key local customers and KOLs to develop insights and services
  • Align with the Commercial Director, EMEA Brand Managers and other key stakeholders on brand priorities and market requirements
  • Ensure all marketing channels identified for use locally (including but not limited to Digital) are aligned to the Therapeutic Area and Brand strategies, and are approved by the EMEA Brand Director
  • Work with local agencies where needed to ensure brand content (Digital or other) is localised for Affiliate needs and ensure appropriate training is delivered for the managed Affiliate Field force, to support their use of the content within the operational brand plan
  • Works collaboratively with peer Therapy Area / Brand Managers in Affiliate, Area and regional Brand leads to develop the recommendations for the brand budget allocation
  • Ensure local brand performance meets agreed standards and monitor in-line with brand KPIs
  • Role model implementation of the new business operating model, driving horizontal/vertical/virtual collaboration, sharing best practice across the business
  • Partner with colleagues on tendering, authorities, commission reimbursements and the successful launch of products
  • Drive a culture of Ethics and Compliance, ensuring Integrity in Action is actively applied in all initiatives and proactively address non-compliance

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least 4-5 years of applicable work experience in marketing roles ideally working with specialties products,
  • Relevant experience in innovative pharma company, with original drugs,
  • Multichannel experience,
  • Has worked in an international, multi-country company,
  • Able to leverage sector/market networks to identify opportunities for competitive advantage,
  • Basic market analysis skills and good decision-making skills regarding use of time and resources,
  • Ability to maintain a high level of scientific knowledge related to products,
  • Great communication, influencing / persuasiveness skills,
  • Deep understanding of how to interpret data (market, financial etc.) and leverage insights generated, to build a strategic view of the market and convert that content into language which has meaning for multiple audiences,
  • Delivering to stretch KPIs, to sustainably grow the business and maintain performance,
  • Collaborative and co-creational role-model, working horizontally and vertically, leveraging CoE service delivery,
  • Creative and conceptual, able to drive innovation in the customer offer.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Degree in Natural Sciences with strong Marketing Experience OR degree in Marketing/Business administration with strong scientific experience
  • Languages: native Hungarian and strong English communications skills are required.
