Vice president-Translational Immuno-oncology

I am partnered with a global and innovative clinical stage biotech with several ongoing programs as well as exciting partnerships with a big pharma. They are seeking an experienced individual to lead and provide strategic oversight within translational science as part of their growth plan.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of talented scientists within immuno-oncology and bioinformatics
• Ensure advancement of pipeline from target idea through to clinical POC
• Develop translational strategies defining key project criteria and milestones
• Play a major role in selection of new indications for exploratory work
• Keep abreast of the latest developments ensuring a competitive edge
• Assess opportunities for in-licensing and collaborations
• Ensure success of collaborations through thorough research plans and collaborative support

Your Background:

• PhD or MD in relevant subject
• Expertise in oncology/immuno-oncology
• Expertise within translational science
• Track record of translational strategy implementation and bringing compounds to clinic
• Leadership/management experience
• Fluent in English
