At Labcorp in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, we are looking to recruit a Sample Coordinator to join our expanding team in Clinical Pathology.

We are interested to hear from fast thinking and solutions based applicants with great communication skills and a willingness to work in a close team. This is an entry level position.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and processing of fresh and frozen biological samples, sample accession tasks, including opening, entering, and posting of samples.
  • Identification, reporting, and resolution of discrepancies during sample receipt and highlight to any responsible personnel for the study.
  • Freezer work, general freezer maintenance.
  • Good Laboratory Practice(GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance.
  • Working to tight timeframes.
  • Querying and resolving paper discrepency issues.
  • The ideal candidate must be a driver and be able to commit to an on call rota.

Education/Qualifications:
  • G.C.S.E.s, A Levels (or equivalent).
