Senior Site Activation Manager (SSU) - EU - 1.0 FTE

Calling all Study Start-Up Manager's, I have an unbelievable opportunity with a top global CRO, this is not to be missed!

Working closely with an industry-leading CRO who are looking to bring on a Freelance Study Start-Up Manager for an initial 6-month contract. The home-based position is ideal for those located anywhere across Europe as long as you are experienced in Global Study Start-Up not only EMEA.

THE ROLE

• Responsible for the management of site activation deliverables within a region or globally, within assigned projects.
• The team focuses on site activation - working to get investigative sites up and running so they can start to enrol patients.
• You will need to have served as a study start-up lead (globally).
• Coordination of feasibility, site contracts, and country teams in a matrix environment.
• Responsible for managing the assigned scope of work to timelines, costs, and quality.
• Collaborate with major functional area leads to identify and evaluate fundamental issues pertaining to successful site activation, interpret data on complex issues, and ensure solutions are implemented.
• Responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the expectations and the contracted deliverables, providing accurate projections, reports and updates, and ongoing risk assessments.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge/ experience of clinical drug development
• Prior experience in leading large or global teams, including functional managers, directly or within a matrix environment.
