Job Details


Lead a key strategic account across the drug development continuum within the Drug Development and Diagnostic group.

Act as the primary point of contact for one or more specific key and/or growth accounts across the drug development portfolio including associated operational guidance and infrastructure. Establish, maintain and expand a coordinated and scalable relationship strategy while overseeing a delivery model that ensures alignment with partnership agreements, client need and vision.

Assume accountability for the consistency and quality of the client portfolio delivery by directly supporting governance effectiveness and leading an effective issue escalation model across functions globally.

Drive account expansion into new service lines by creating client advocacy, inspiring client teams, influencing both internal and external stakeholder engagement, connecting process, technical and scientific subject matter experts and ensuring the successful commitment to excellent portfolio delivery including contract terms.

When appropriate, lead through a highly committed team to develop and implement a holistic Drug Development Partnership Solutions approach. This includes objective setting, coaching and lead by example in accountability of the power of combined.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree - Life Sciences and/or Business Management

10 years' relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience:
  • Agile in communication and able to negotiate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. This includes ability to use tactic and questions to gather perspective
  • Ability to influence and confront at all level within a matrix organization and without "authority".
  • Problem solver, out of the box thinker: ability to translate ideas and data into valuable reporting and measure effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinker
  • Ability to effectively challenge status quo and identify innovative ways to partner
  • Strong executive presence
  • Proven ability to inspire others through implementation of exemplary team values and established trust
  • Demonstrated ability to create tailored approaches to customer needs
  • Solid understanding the principles of drug discovery and drug development
  • Broad understanding of commercialization, deal terms and conditions associated with various models
  • Proven ability to engage clients in discussions related to expanded partnerships, innovation, portfolio growth, pipeline etc.
  • Successful track record of driving leadership teams to improved partnership decisions and outcomes.
