The Payroll Manager is responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations for North America and providing oversight for all European payroll operations.

The Payroll Manager is responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations for North America and providing oversight for all European payroll operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the US and Canada payrolls and produce all bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, special compensation amounts, and bonus payrolls.
- Ensure the timely processing of federal, state and local tax filings, payments, corrections, tax notices or tax demand.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and IRS regulations.
- Liaise with ADP for payroll/benefits setup and year-end reporting.
- Oversee filing in new employment tax territories, working with outside tax professionals as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with Benefits Manager to ensure accurate North America benefit deductions and record keeping.
- Responds to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters.
- Oversee European monthly payrolls for accuracy and timely submission.
- Manage global payroll service providers and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with HR team members and Finance on payroll related issues, ad-hoc projects, reporting, audits and account reconciliations.
- Test new set up, system enhancements, system updates and integrations affecting payroll.
Qualifications:
- B achelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Minimum 7 years directly related experience
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding payroll
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Ability to manage competing priorities with deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work efficiently without supervision.
