Oxford Biomedica’s Human Resource team is responsible for recruitment, learning & development, employee relations, employee wellbeing, payroll and employee engagement across the business.

We are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition team.  The purpose of this role is to work with assigned Hiring Managers, acting as an advisor and taking ownership for the end to end recruitment lifecycle, from recruitment briefing meeting, advertising, sourcing, arranging interviews and making job offers

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

For assigned roles, you will manage the end to end recruitment process.  This includes:

  • Conduct a Recruitment Briefing Meeting with the Hiring Manager to ensure an understanding of the requirements of the vacancy and the interview process

  • Develop job adverts to post and advertise vacancies
  • Build Talent Pools for specific high volume roles
  • Promote the Employee Referral program and encourage internal development and movement
  • Advertise on LinkedIn and JobBoards, promoting the Employee Value Proposition

Assess

  • Review applications and assess suitability for open roles
  • With Guidance, provide coaching and counselling to hiring manager’s to effectively support recruitment objectives and KPI’s

Measure

  • Keep abreast of market trends and demands impacting the company’s ability to attract competitive candidates; coordinate with HR on salary offer considerations and equity concerns
  • Ensure the ATS and Tracker are kept up to date for reporting purposes

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR or Business.  Alternatively, CIPD / REC foundation or relevant work experience
  • Experience within a talent acquisition function, ideally with experience of following the end to end recruitment process
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process or can demonstrate the ability to obtain relevant information and following guidance to ensure compliance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organization skills with the ability prioritize own workload.  Has a sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail
  •  Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Proficient IT skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
