Commercial Director

Providing direction, leadership, and complete oversight of financial accounting for an established communications agency. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be working directly with the CEO and business unit leads to ensure positive outcomes for the business, employees, clients and partners.

Typical responsibilities

• Providing financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team, with complete analysis and recommendations to ensure that the business continues to grow profitably and ensure that Directors obtain management information to guarantee the effective running of their accounts.
• Checking all client contracts, NDAs, and other legal matters, liaising with lawyers when needed.
• Provides strong leadership to the financial team; this will entail conducting regular performance reviews, setting commercial and personal objectives, and ensuring team developmental opportunities, including training and promotions.
• Partnering with HR Director on organisational design and recruitment to ensure resources meet business demands.
• Overseeing auditing of all records and procedures to ensure proper maintenance of financial records and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Have worked in an agency as a Commercial Director
• Clear and confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• Analytical mindset; producing and presenting highly detailed financial reports monthly, quarterly and annually
• Excel at multi-tasking, organisation and time management
• In-depth knowledge of corporate principles and financial analysis
