Clinical & Scientific Liaison - ICU - Melbourne

A CSL is required for a fast-paced and dynamic Healthcare company based in Melbourne.

This is a field based role with dual responsibilities as an MSL + Clinical Specialist.

In this role you will be working in a high pressure, challenging and extremely rewarding environment.

You will you will bring your in-depth scientific knowledge and strong communication skills to develop and engage with KOL's in designated therapeutic areas.

Running advisory boards, journal clubs, symposiums and so forth, with an opportunity to work at a regional level.

You will provide clinical education and technical support / troubleshooting to internal and external stakeholders.

This role reports into the Medical Director.

I am working exclusively with this company on this position and have worked with the team for a couple of years now and can confidently say the culture here is fantastic.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic qualifications in Life Sciences: PhD, MSc, PharmD or RN.
  • Healthcare and/or work related experience: Clinical experience in ICU/Critical Care/ Respiratoty / Cardiology highly desirable
  • Relevant experience as Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, Clinical Specialist or Clinical Research Coordinator.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Medicines Code & Australian health care system.
  • Ability to absorb and communicate complex technical and scientific information and understand its impact on the quality use of medicines to positively affect patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills and empathy, track record of building long standing influential KOL relationships
  • Proven ability to understand and operate in a technically complex therapeutic area.
