Platform Delivery Lead - Informatics

My client is a leading innovative Biotech who are working on the most cutting-edge technologies within cancer genomics. They are looking to bring on a talented and engaging Informatics Platform Delivery Lead  to lead delivery of programs and projects aimed at advancing the Informatics & Technology capabilities within the business.  

This is a high growth dynamic environment, and it is essential you have a desire to work in such a position, an ability to manage multiple projects running concurrently is key.

Your experience will include:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computing science or equivalent experience
• 7+ years experience focussing on the delivery of informatics/research applications in a biopharma environment.                    
• Exceptional soft skills including, negotiation, communication and high levels of influence.
• Informatics experience working ideally in a research/discovery focussed biotech
• Demonstrable ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong project management skills

Roles and responsibilities:

• Leads and manage delivery of I&T Informatics programs or projects as required by internal and external stakeholders, including I&T architects, and software and consulting delivery partners.
• Acts as a subject matter expert, within the IT team for Informatics
• Responsible for creating, sustaining & coordinating the execution of standard applications, policies & processes in support of the wider business scientific community. Processes include:

• Vendor and Contract Management (MSPs and vendors)
• Training and Implementation
• Change management and communication
