Senior Director, ADME Medical Lab – Clinical Lab Services – Indiana, US

My partner is an leading provider of clinical trial laboratory services which supports a variety of blue chip pharmaceutical and biotech companies globally. They are seeking an experienced Scientific Leader with an in-depth understanding of site operations including developing overall strategy, capital acquisition, personnel management and finance.

Having a strong commercial mind-set and ability to represent the business and interact with customers is quite key given the nature of the services my partner provides.

As you will be working within a global and well-respected industry leader, the career growth potential is very promising here. This role is also a key function within the business having oversight over all 80 employees giving you a leading stake in the running of this high-performing and well-equipped laboratory.

What will you do?

• Oversee the entire site operations of the clinical testing function
• P&L responsibility
• Oversight of 80+ staff at the site with 4 - 8 direct reports
• Interact with customers and represent the site and overall company

What do you need? 

• A minimum of a BSc in a relevant scientific field but PhD preferred
• Several years experience focused on ADME or Drug Metabolism is essential
• At least 3 years managing staff
• Commercial experience dealing with customers and contract services would be a major plus
