I am delighted to be working with one of my favourite clients on a key hire within their editorial team.

An independent full-service healthcare communications agency that have an investment in their people and a real focus on team culture – it is no wonder they have one of the best staff retentions I have seen!

This is a dynamic role where you will be the lead on a number of accounts in different therapy areas and a range of projects, including publications.

You will have strong leadership skills to mentor and motive the other team members, whilst providing senior level scientific, strategic, and commercial expertise.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, edit, proofread and data check scientific materials over a full range of deliverables and target audiences, to the highest level of accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and external experts
  • Contribute to the development of new business proposals and pitches through the provision of added-value strategic insight
  • Review scientific content, ensuring that materials comply with industry compliance guidelines, deadline, budgets, and specifications
  • Line manage team members, and act as a mentor and role model

 

Experience

  • Life science degree is essential
  • Medical writing experience within a medical communications agency
  • Line management skills
  • Experience working across a number of deliverables, preferably publications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines and adapt quickly to change
